Right after kneading the wood clay (a lot of kneading because the wood clay is quite stiff by itself, the kneading makes it softer) of the wood clay you can work the wood clay with metal clay and then let wood and metal clay dry together.<\/p>\n
The drying time of wood clay is three days at room temperature. Drying time can be accelerated in a hot oven at about 100 degrees C. <\/p>\n
After drying, wood clay can be worked on with a file or sandpaper so that the shape can be adjusted.<\/p>\n
Baking off open or filigree jewelry:
\nSilver clay oven : 5 minutes at 800 degrees C
\nGas stove or Tourch: 15 minutes. ( Large pieces are better baked off in the silver clay oven) <\/p>\n
Baking of closed ornament:
\nSilver Clay Oven: Place ornament in cold oven and heat to 500 degrees C. Then continue to 800 degrees C for 10 minutes. Allow jewel in oven to cool to 400 degrees C. <\/p>\n
Wood clay is made from recycled wood waste and thus environmentally friendly.<\/p>\n

Tip: Once the container is opened, divide the remaining clay into smaller portions and vacuum-pack it to prevent it from drying out. <\/strong><\/p>\n
