Perfect for securing an object, making a handle or using as protection. It is also used to make casting models.  <\/p>\n<p>When the setting is finished, the plastic is heated with hot water or a hair dryer to remove the plastic again<\/p>\n<p>Reusable. It is wise not to do this by hand but use tools. <\/li>\n<li>Use of boiling hot water can cause burns.<\/li>\n<li>Protoplast up to 60 degrees does not adhere to metals, but does adhere to various plastics.<\/li>\n<li>For adhesion to metals, they must be preheated to above 60 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>It is safest to warm the Protoplast in water, checked with a thermometer.<\/li>\n<li>You can see the granules soften as the grains become transparent.<\/li>\n<li>When these are completely transparent, the Protoplast is soft enough to be taken out of the water.<\/li>\n<li>Do this with tongs or a spoon, then gently knead the excess water out of the wame plastic with your hands.
