An anti-tarnish coating is a coating to prevent silver jewelry from becoming dull or discolored/black.

Silver naturally turns black over time. How quickly and how black depends on a number of conditions such as the acidity of the wearer’s skin, care products used, etc.

With the Elex Lite machine it is possible to treat silver so that it no longer turns black .

Included with the Elex Lite, (see photo 2) The plastic pot, cables, powder for cleaning.

Etsuko uses an anti-tarnish method for the work she sells.
This keeps her silver beautifully bright in color and shiny.

The video shows how to ceramically coat jewelry with colors. This is virtually the same method as treating with the Clear, anti-tarnish coating.

Note: During coating, the piece to be coated should not touch the metal in the cup, it will actually turn black.

If you are going to coat with the Clear, pressing the button for 5-10 seconds is enough.

The Elex Lite can also be used and is very effective for cleaning jewelry.

If you want to coat something larger than the plastic container, pour it over into a larger plastic container and place the metal in the larger container as well

Baked-in zirconia :

1. Dip a polished (finished) and degreased piece with CZ stone into Elecolo solution and electroplating it.
2. Rinse it in water to remove excess Elecolo solution.
3. Dry it in a tumble dryer, at room temperature until the moisture has evaporated
4. Carefully wipe the coating off the CZ stone with cleaning alcohol and a cotton swab.
5. Heat the stone in an oven at 150-160°C for 15-30 minutes.

*If Elecolo coating (even bright color solution) is left on the zirconia, the light reflection is reduced and the brightness of the stone fades .
