Ring with Dichroic Glass.

Ring with a Dichroic glass cabochon. Dichroic glass can be co-fired with silver clay. The firing temperature of silver clay can be quite low, starting at 650 degrees for at least 30 minutes but preferably longer for a ring. This firing temperature is lower than the melting temperature of Dichroic glass. Therefore, it can be co-fired. Do make sure in your design that there is room for the glass to expand and contract again.

The ring head on the example has been textured by the use of textured mats. The ring head is smooth, with no texture.
