Pendant with print of your finger or a finger of someone dear to you.
Press the clay flat with a pressure plate. Not too thin. Then press in with your finger. Take a finger with clear lines. This varies from finger to finger. You can see the imprint, but it may not be as clear as you would like. However, this will become clearer after firing. Firing shrinks the clay a bit, making the pattern clearer. After firing, you can blacken it with sulfur dye / blitz stain. This will make the lines even clearer.
Optionally, you can polish the pendant with 1 or more zirconia. Press it with a mini circle cutter a hole for the pendant eye. Here is an ordinary jumpring used. You can also choose to use a bail with a slightly more professional look.
