Ring made of silver clay with heat-baked heat-resistant bright white zirconia. For the zirconia a setting tray is made with Art Clay Silver syringe / silver clay spray clay. First we used slats 1.5 or 2 a ring binder rolled with a clay roller. This was shaped with the fingers and a very small amount of water. This creates the organic look. The ring on the ring stick let it dry. (You can read more about making rings from silver clay here) Now to make the organic setting tray. Make a setting with spray clay by stacking circles. When you are high enough press the zirconia in there. Here we used a 5mm zirconia. Make sure the zirconia is below the surface of the silver clay. Due to the shrinkage of the silver clay, the zirconia will be pushed up. If the stone is not deep enough it will be too high or worse, it will come loose. Also allow setting to dry. When ring and setting are dry, stick them in the right place with spray clay. Let dry. When everything is dry, bake. Do not cool in water, the stone will not like that. It will crack or change color.
