Description
Blitz stain and sulfur liver are the same. For blackening, oxidizing, patinating silver and copper.
Ready to use.
Using a brush, apply blitz stain to the parts you want to blacken. Then dip the workpiece into hot water with tweezers. This will activate the blitz-stain and the metal will turn black. Then rinse the workpiece under the tap.
Another method is to put the entire piece of jewelry in a bowl of boiling water and a few drops of blitz stain. Take it out, rinse it under the tap, let it dry and polish high areas.
Now by sanding the high parts with a fine sandpaper or polishing locally with the agate pen or polishing pen you can make some parts shine silver again. After blackening, neutralize the jewelry with baking soda. If necessary, fix the jewelry with wax or varnish.
Jar 10ml. Keep dark, the effect is reduced under the influence of daylight.
